Winter Wonderland

Cold day here - but the sunset decided to play nice.

Once I saw that, I started off toward the sun.  I was able to snap these off:



And,




So, I took off walking in the opposite direction of the creek walk, and came up on this little neighborhood!

Photo Walk

I went on a little photo walk on Sunday.  Came upon a giant field and some trees.  After walking through the trees I saw this little stream/creek.  I got lucky with the time of day and available light.

In these shots I am using a Canon XSi, 50mm 1.4 prime lens with a manfrotto tripod.

This first image is down in the creek.

After walking around some more and looking for interesting angles the light really started to go down.  So, instead of fighting the brush, I headed home.  When heading home, I walked out of the brush into a giant field - and wow, some stunning lighting, I couldn't pass it up!
