I made it 30 days!  Anyway, on to a pretty sunset - and while it is slightly boring, it is a blue sky, and we don't get a whole lot of those in winter...

So, I got new glasses today.  I wanted to show them off in a way that isn't typically seen, and landed on this.  The light was pretty, and the depth was interesting....

The sky was finally blue!  Well, at least for a few hours in the very early morning.  A typical street or parking lamp - contrasted against the deep blue, made for an interesting shot...

I had this creative thought in my head for a shot and post processing...Turns out, I'm not that good at it..haha.  So it was late, and I was bummed - here's a simple by-product of my failure

Came home from work and did another brew...This is our first wedding brew...I feel pretty confident this is going to be awesome! Let's all hope so :)

Rainy sunday...Makes winter that much harder - because it finally wasn't snow, nearly 50 outside...a touch of spring, but an empty promise

So, I took the picture - but was busy and couldn't upload.  With total anonymity, this "model" of mine was doing his best to succeed on a prank of sorts...LOL

Tired from a long work week, enjoyed a hell of a night with friends (and yes, I did actually forget to bring my camera), and just wanted to get into PJs and off our feet.  So, I told "R" to pose for me...her response about her feet:

(Quoting here) "My feet are pretty awesome.  They are really symmetrical , they have the most perfect lines, my feet are the greatest things on this earth"

(Some of the latter part of that I made up...some)

My grandparents sent me a new lens!!

Its a 28-105mm, with a maximum of f/3.5-4.5...I only had the chance to put it on and make sure it works - but I am super excited for a new lens - and a zoom lens!!

Eye see you...OK, that was TOTALLY corny.  Anyway, I wanted to get some good detail of my eye, but quickly found out, while my 50mm prime is super awesome, for that level of detail, I need a macro lens.  Oh well, I'd say it turned out pretty good...

Went to Sur La Table for a beer cooking class!  We had ribs, beer battered fish, beer cheese soup, and chocolate stout cake...WOW...

Anyway, we got coupons for the store and they had this wusthof knife set on sale + our coupon!

Saw another picture kinda like this, and decided to try it myself.  As an added bonus, "R" makes her first appearance!

Traveled home from Ft. Knox...exhausted, my motivation?  The car that got us there and back, lol

Visited one of my best buddies at Ft.Knox - he took us to the Patton Museum to look at the collection of tanks!  It was awesome, seriously.  The history, collection, and his knowledge of all of this was pretty cool, and slightly overwhelming.  This was one of the first ones we saw, and was enormous...

Got home from work, took off out into the middle of nowhere.  I got up on a hill to look at the light, look at the scenery, and wondered what would happen if I took this picture of me.

Because the "R" part in kredesign doesn't upload all that often - I'll showcase a small piece of her yet to be finished top/bottom.

Admittedly, I don't know anything about fashion - but the print was really cool, the stitching details, and the faded out version of the bottom all created a very intriguing composure..

Freezing outside - but finally stopped snowing!  Camera in hand, and in the same kind of getup that would be used for skiing, I came across this...

Weather is snowy - again...So, after shoveling the driveway and walkway, while the snow was still falling, I saw this pretty light!

Got a new camera bag!!   This is extremely awesome...holds all my current stuff (and then I quickly found out I need more stuff!), and it has straps on the bottom to carry around that crazy heavy tripod!

Reflection of the brew pot - that's right folks, we brew our own beer...sometimes!

This was our second brew - we were cooking up some Imperial Nut Brown!  Our first batch was an Irish Stout - that came out really good for our first one...well, at least we think so.

Anyway, this was in the middle of brewing the wort, the light was pretty and this pot was still clean and reflective - looked interesting.

Project 365

Starting today!

I will be doing a project 365 photoblog.  1 picture a day, uploaded here.  I might not be able to upload EVERY day, I'll try - but the point is - to upload something new and something that inspires me.  The pictures not might mean anything, they probably won't be very congruent with the previous days post, but that is irrelevant.

So - today beings the project, by the end of the day, I'll have posted up something...Maybe with a caption, maybe not, maybe with an explanation, maybe not - either way, we will see where this little journey takes us!
