"R" took the day off to get a bunch of things done...in the process, she made some AMAZING ribs! Oh man, they were freaking amazing!  And pretty easy...make the dry rub, add in a beer, throw in the oven for about 4 hours...top with bbq sauce - ENJOY :)

It's the return of the smoke pictures...and I feel like I failed, again.  Technically speaking, I do have all the correct settings this time - I really just came to the realization that a flashlight just isn't cutting it.  I need a powerful - or at least more powerful flash - and also one that I can control remotely off camera.  The nice flash I have now doesn't have that functionality....Anyway - here's result number 2...

Another one of "R"s designs - she refuses to show it off - so I'll take it upon myself to showcase her talents.  Now - the next task would be to get somebody to model for me - but until then, I'll resort to laying it on the table or something and making it rather obscure.

Went to visit "R"s sister in the Cincinnati area.  We were leaving The Party Source with a case of yummy beer and I snapped this - kind of out of luck - right before we got on the freeway.  I do wish the power lines weren't in the way :-/

"R" got a promotion today!! Big time!  So, in celebration - here's a photo of one of the things we bought (as well as go out to dinner)...Great Lakes Blackout Stout...By far, one of the best beers available...

Kinda sick - and yet another snow storm...So, I was stuck inside not feeling well.  Well, I had a new 5 way reflector show up in the mail!  Does silver, black, gold, white and diffuse - I can't wait to feel better and use it!

Went to a Blue Jackets game!   I would have said it was super awesome, but we had some - and it's difficult to even use this word "fans" of both sides who would not stop trash talking (And that's about as PC as I can get - because these guys were horrible.)

Oh well - it was an awesome stadium and we had a great time!

I did something nice for "R" - not that I'm trying to get out of Valentine's Day, but she's been "hinting" at flowers for a while.  And, actually, I figure - we've been together now for 2.5 years - it's about time I bought her flowers, right?

Haha - not entirely my fault - she did tell me on our first day how much she didn't like flowers ;-)

Grey day - and snowy this morning - time to get a bit creative.  And I did learn that I need to practice this a little more.  What you see is my version of taking a picture of smoke.  It is difficult, and where I was doing this (in a closet) made maneuvering myself, the light, and the camera a bit difficult.  Anyway - I learned a lot, but it got late and me hungry...
