5 Days in Paris

It has been a long-time dream of mine to go to Paris, France. This summer, my husband made that dream a reality and took me to Paris for five days after our vacation on the Cote D'Azure. After being apprehensive of the language barrier and rumors we'd heard about the Parisians themselves, we very happily found that Paris is such an amazing city. The people are genuinely so polite and friendly if you just show enough courtesy to say hello, thank you and please in their native language. A little effort on our part really went such a long way.

We spent almost the entire visit doing the most tourist-y things we could, and we got to see a lot of this amazing city through those eyes. But we'd really like to go back and avoid the crowds to do a more relaxed visit in this city. I think we'd really love it even more if we did...

Something to put back on the list for a future trip!!

Our Nice Vacation

And I don't just mean that we had a "nice" vacation. LOL  We went to Nice, France!! The water is cool and beautiful, the beaches are rocky and warm, and we ate our fair share of baguettes, cheeses and French wine. A much deserved and needed week of relaxation in such a beautiful location.

Turning 35

My 35th Birthday came and went without much drama. The hubby took me out for a fantastic lunch down in Monterey and I got to enjoy the day in the garden, watching my "babies" grow. I suppose this birthday felt like a big one for me... but with so much of my life going along so beautifully, I had no room to complain. Here's to another healthy, happy 35 years of this wonderful life.  <3
